You\u2019ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 years or more as a machine operator or related experience,<\/li><li>Able to use a caliper, dial gauge, etc.<\/li><li>Grinding experience is a plus,<\/li><li>Experience in metal part production is a plus,<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle<\/li><li>Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)<\/li><li>Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines<\/li><li>Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools<\/li><li>Test operation of machines periodically<\/li><li>Fix issues that might occur during the shift<\/li><li>Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws<\/li><li>Keep records of approved and defective units or final products<\/li><li>Maintain activity logs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Proven experience as a machine operator, will consider no experience,<\/li><li>Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)<\/li><li>Understanding of production procedures<\/li><li>Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)<\/li><li>Ability to read schematics and manuals<\/li><li>Analytical skills<\/li><li>Attention to detail<\/li><li>Teamwork and communication skills<\/li><li>Physical stamina and strength<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Job Type: Full-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Job Type: Full-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salary: $15.00 &#8211; $20.00 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>8 hour shift<\/li><li>Overtime<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Work Location: One location<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job description We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery.
